Life Care Center of Pensacola, Florida, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, recently achieved a deficiency-free state survey.
To pass the state survey each year, nursing facilities must meet hundreds of criteria. These address not only nursing care and resident safety, but also patients’ rights, food services, administration and the facility’s environment. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care and interviewing residents and associates.
“Earning a deficiency-free survey felt amazing,” said Grant Garrison, executive director. “The best part is to see that our staff has been recognized as an excellent team that works tirelessly to rehabilitate and serve our residents and patients daily. They are the reason for such a great honor.”
State surveyors visited Life Care Center of Pensacola from Feb. 6-9, 2017.
